Lateltin was founded in 1899 by Frederico Lateltin. In the first few years the company mainly dealt with the production of wines. From this they gained a broad knowledge in the production of high quality vermouths.
Lateltin AG experienced an absolute vermout boom in the 50s and 60s, and during this time they sold up to 480,000 bottles of Jsotta per year.
Due to the alcohol tax introduced in Switzerland in 1999, the brand was forced to stop the production of Jsotta Vermouth. The revival was not celebrated until 15 years later. Based on the old recipe combined with new ideas, Jsotta was launched in 2016 as the first real Swiss vermouth. In various delicious varieties, with a long Swiss tradition.
